When and where is the Fun Run? Will there be pre- and post-run activities?

*Route:* CCF Soccer Field, Office Lane, Central Drive, and Frontera Verde.

*Pre-run activity:* Warm-up exercises at 5:00 AM

*Post-run activity:* Cool-down exercises and Zumba at 8:00 AM

₱1,000 includes a race T-shirt, finisher medal, and race bib.

Only students, LAI staff , their immediate family members (parents, siblings, grandparents) and non-family members living in the same household can join if registered.

Friends are not allowed to ensure safety and venue capacity.

Children aged 12 and below are allowed to participate in the run, provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Participants under 18 must obtain consent from their parent or guardian and complete the entry form, which requires the parent or guardian’s signature.

Participants can choose between 1K, 3K, and 5K routes, depending on their fitness level and preference. Please note, only the 5K run is competitive, while the 1K and 3K are non-competitive fun runs.

The top 3 finishers of the 5K run will receive a plaque to recognize their achievements.

The event will proceed rain or shine. However, in the case of extreme weather or other uncontrollable events (Acts of God), the organizers reserve the right to delay, cancel, or modify the event for safety reasons. No refunds will be issued, but any remaining funds will be donated to our benefactors.

This is a fundraising event. If we do not meet the necessary financial requirements to cover the operating costs, the event may be canceled. Please note that all funds collected will be non-refundable, as they will have already been allocated toward expenses. Any remaining funds will be donated entirely to the benefactors.

Unfortunately, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Your registration helps cover the costs of organizing the event and supports our benefactors.

Yes, we will have two hydration stations—one within the event race area and another along Frontera Verde.

What should I bring to the event?

Race T-shirt, bib, water bottle, and ID. Wear comfortable running shoes.

We highly recommend wearing the official race T-shirt during the event. However, if your T-shirt doesn’t fit or you forget to bring it, you may wear any plain or printed white T-shirt (as long as it doesn’t feature any inappropriate content).

Please note that only registered participants are allowed to join the event and access the running track.

Proceeds from the Fun Run will support the Christmas gift-giving project to 200 EGSIS and LAI personnel and provide financial assistance to a beloved LAI employee battling cancer. All remaining funds after event expenses will go directly to these benefactors.

Race kits will be available for pick-up at the Nextgen lobby or cafeteria. Date and time will be shared via email after payment.

No, for the safety of all participants, pets are not allowed at the event.

Registrations are transferable ONLY to LAI students, personnel, their family members, or other members of their household. All transferred ticket recipients will be subject to the rules, guidelines, waivers, and disclaimers of the Life Run: Shine On. Run Strong event.

You can change your category, as it’s a fun run after all. However, T-shirt sizes cannot be changed or updated after registration since they are pre-ordered.

Yes, of course markers will be available at every kilometer along the race routes.
